Archer, Mali & Me

I am very fortunate to have six healthy and multitalented grandchildren.

The eldest two, Archer and Amalia have been painting with me since 2020, now 8 and 6 we have had several years sitting outside on our deck, looking over Kutti Beach and across to Doyles painting together Plein Air.

It’s been a regular pastime, tranquil and quiet, with each giving plenty of encouragement and excitement when enthusiasm and zest has meant the mixing of amazing colours without intent.

The picking of a topic to paint, Luna Park, rainbows, the house on the hill, or a lighthouse, we were outside for hours, in all weather, beanies and hoodies, or swimmers and t-shirts, and when we were done ‘Peppa Pig’ or ‘Frozen’ won over ‘The Bathurst 1000’.

I trust you see something you like in this show. It was born out of love and fun and we hope that you leave a little happier and contented than when you dropped in.
